There are lot irregularities with Selenium 3.X.X for FF version. Try with downgraded version of FF. Also give a try of FF 32 bit version

yes we can do that using normal calls as we do for normal web applications.
So this means we have to use Geko driver to launch Firefox every time ??

Which Chrome Version It can or would support as I am not able to launch the browser only.
Chrome latest it will support. Make sure you are using latest chrome driver 2.24 version.
