In this post, I will guide you on what to learn after selenium and how to learn them as well. What to learn after selenium?

I will share the list of tools or technology which you can learn and you can go in any order because these are independent.

API Testing

API Testing is nowadays essential for every tester because each and every company is introducing API Testing and shifting towards API Testing. Even if you are fresher then you should learn about API’s and how to test the same. There are many tools in the market which is free and widely used. 1- Postman 2- RestAssured 3- SoapUI 4- Karate and etc

Mobile Automation

Many companies also started performing mobile automation since each and every web application are available on mobile devices. It is very important to learn about mobile automation as well. The best tool to perform mobile automation is Appium. The good news here is that if you are someone who has learned selenium then learning Appium will be very easy for you because you will be using 90-95% of the Selenium concepts.

BDD Frameworks

The next thing which I want to highlight here is the BDD framework. Lot of companies are shifting from TDD to BDD so it is very important for us to understand about BDD like what is BDD, how it works and why we using BDD. Once you understand the principle then you can implement BDD in your current project. For Java best BDD framework is Cucumber.
